Will Capt Amarinder dare to throw his corrupt minister?

Punjab Congress seems to be back with the old ways; saving the corrupt ones and ignoring the ground realities. 

Punjab cabinet minister and senior most Congress leader Rana Gurjit Singh has brought a bad name by doing something silly and really unthinkable. 

Rana’s cook and other employees getting mining tenders worth Rs 50 crores has attracted opprobrium from all sides. 

Rana might have to face an enquiry, he might have to undergo severe questioning or worst, he might have to quit. 

The volley of criticism has come too early in the day when Capt was still enjoying the fruits of the honeymoon period. 

The reality struck Capt hard when he decided to handover enquiry to a judicial commission.

It was expected at the time of Capt Amarinder taking an oath that he will turn around the state and bring much-needed development in the state.

The allegation of corruption will dog Capt Amarinder Singh as his senior most minister finds himself in a soup.

It will certainly dent the image of Captain Amarinder Singh, who was trying hard to project himself as a leader, destined to change the face of Punjab. 

Akalis and AAP have sensed the blood and planning to up the ante against Congress government.
