Well, I am open to join any good political party: Gurpreet Singh Waraich (Ghuggi)

Chandigarh: Gurpreet Singh Waraich (Ghuggi), an actor, stand-up comedian, made his entry into  Punjab politics to bring changes in the society. He spent more than a year in the Aam Adami Party, campaigned throughout the state but left the party disillusioned.
He had high hopes from the supreme leader of the party Arvind Kejriwal but he Kejriwal did not turn up after the poll defeat. His millions of supporters were left in the lurch.
Allegations against Delhi-centric leader flew thick and fast but nobody from central leadership tried to clear the air.
Ghuggi says Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal came to Amritsar recently but he never cared to meet Punjab leaders like him, who left his career midway and wanted real change in the political system.
Ghuggi has a huge fan following among the youth but they will go back to the Congress, BJP or Akali fold as there is nobody to guide him.
Will he join Congress or any other party if given chance, Ghuggi opines that in politics nothing is permanent as there is no permanent foe or friend in politics?

He says if given chance, he may join a good party.
Good party? what does good party mean?
He is not ready to open his cards but he has a soft corner for the Capt Amarinder led Congress party, which came to power after people voted him to power with a great majority.
Congress has been doing a great job or it is safe to say that Capt Saab has started off well and he should be given a big clap for this but there is only refrain; he should control law and order situation soon and make Punjab drug-free.

What is going on in Advani's mind today?

One of the tallest politicians of the modern era, Lal Krishna Advani, helped BJP transcend phenomenal height. He was nursing the hope that someday he could become the President of India. The discussion was also within BJP for the last three years but things didn’t go the right way. When it came the opportune moment, Advani was elbowed out.
BJP  declared Ramnath Kovind as their presidential candidate. Somewhere one was shocked, who was this Ramnath Kovind? In fact, a lot of people did not know who is Ramnath Kovind?
Kovind has been Rajya Sabha MP twice.
Also, his claim to fame was that once upon a time he had given a speech at the UN. He has been Governor of Bihar for the last two years
Kovind is BJP's Dalit face. Is it not enough to become a president?
Congress had also made a lesser known politician Pratibha Patil the President, this question was also raised at that time.  There is an uncanny similarity between both the incidents.
Like Pratibha Patil, Kovind's political and social stature is not so big.
In the parliamentary democracy, the President does not have much authority but he works as a guide for millions of people in India.

In Kovind, BJP saw a Dalit's face. BJP saw 2019 victory in Kovind. Why Advani was sidelined is not a great question to comprehend.
Narendra Modi was his closest disciple during Advani's Rath Yatra. Today, Advani is alone in politics and is imprisoned in a deserted house.
The CBI has got clearance to prosecute him in the conspiracy to demolish the Babri Masjid. The dream to become the president was broken on that very day.
Advani does not talk to the camera, Advani avoids media glare; the man who used to call shots once upon a time.
Media used to wait for hours for a sound byte of that Advani, today no one is waiting for him.
Advani could not become the Prime Minister of the country. The opposition used to enjoy calling him a person "Prime minister in waiting".
Everyone knows Advani was hoping that he would be made the Prime Minister.  But his own political disciple, Narendra Modi, shattered his dreams.

After the Gujarat riots, when Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee had decided to remove Narendra Modi, Advani stood in the way. We are all aware of Narendra Modi's political journey after him.
But we are not aware of what is going on in Advani's mind today when his own party has shown him the door, Advani must be ruing all his decisions, wrong or right.

Advani sidelined again, Ramnath Kovind, a dalit, would be NDA's presidential nominee

The BJP parliamentary board has decided to field  Bihar Governor Ramnath Kovind as NDA’s presidential nominee.  He is a Dalit face of the BJP and could influence dalit and OBC voters in the cow belt.
BJP chief Amit Shah said that there should be unanimity on his name.

(Bihar Governor Ramnath Kovind has been announced as NDA's presidential nominee)

This has come as a shocker of a decision for those who were considering former Deputy Prime Minister L.K.Advani as an experienced campaigner for this post.
Meeting, which the BJP chief Amit Shah had with Shiv Sena, Congress and other leaders,  failed to reach a consensus.
Gone are the days when parties would agree on one issue, or one certain name.
So far only Neelam Sanjeev Reddy was elected as president, unopposed, this time too, it looks practically impossible to reach a consensus.
There were indications in the BJP’s rank and file feels that L.K.Advani should be the first choice for the post of president given his tonnes of political and social experience.
In last five decades of history of BJP and Jansangh, L.K.Advani had been the sole flag bearer of Hindutva and its cause apart from former Prime Minister Atal Behari Vajpayee. Atal was favoured by all cutting across party lines because of his liberal image, while Advani took BJP from nadir to its pinnacle.

(The original Rathyatri, L.K.Advani)

Competing ideas, politics and ego clashes could the main reason for differing views.
L.K.Advani has more friends in other parties than BJP. Congress and JD(U) might not oppose his candidature. There are other parties who would support Advani for him impeccable political career sans any corruption charges.
The only hiccough is ongoing CBI inquiry into Babri Mosque demolition case against L.K.Advani
Congress has spoken in clear terms that they would fight to win, while left and others have made it clear that they will make BJP’s bid to elect president tough.
NDA has no alternative in this given situation.
BJP has to look with for this mess as there are almost a dozen names doing the round at present for the post of president.
LK Advani, Murli Manohar Joshi, Sushma Swaraj, Sumitra Mahajan, Ram Naik, Draupadi Murmu and Thavar Chand Gehlot are the prominent names unofficially floated with various pressure groups.
What BJP could have done was simply make an official statement regarding the issue at hand.

Bihar lost its core value; that was the education Nitish Kumar.

Bihar has got no industry, Bihar doesn’t have the wherewithal to provide private jobs to burgeoning youths. Bihar's capital was its youth, they are on crossroads.
Bihar lost its core value; its education.
This is not as if it started a few years back, erosion which had set in the late 1990’s, has taken gargantuan proportion.

Bihar lives on two different extremes. There is extreme richness, there is extreme poverty.
There are honest and hardworking people, there you politicians corrupt to the core.
On one hand, Bihar students have been topping the UPSC exams for decades while you get to see higher secondary results dipping so low.
Bihar has given you best civil servants, while you have got uneducated politicians ruling the state for an almost quarter-century. Bihar thrives in contrasts.
You must not have forgotten pictures of mass cheating, which opened the holes in the eroding educational system.
The result of secondary exams speaks for itself, in the year 2015, more than 75 per cent students passed the SSC, while this year only one in three students could pass the exams or 64 % percent of 12th students failed.
Bihar Education officials claim that strict checking process resulted in poor results but this is just unacceptable.
The pass percentage of SSC exams dipped by 30 per cent, how could this be justified? National topped could score 99.6 per cent while Bihar topper scored 86.2 percent, this itself exposes the worse education policies chief minister Nitish Kumar is pursuing.
Pictures of school going girls riding cycle are nothing but good marketing by his spin doctors.
Nitish Kumar has given a lot of emphasis on allocating budget for schools but does Bihar have quality teachers?
If you don’t have good teachers, one can’t produce champions.

If you keep on supporting a corrupt system, you produce Ruby Rai and Ganesh Kumar.
Nitish Kumar has been able to save his chair but he has utterly failed in providing basic infrastructure for the education sector.
Nitish Kumar must delve deep into the reasons for this utterly poor show. He has got a strong mandate from the people, he must expose the wrongdoers.
Bihar’s prestige is at stake, please don’t make a joke.
For Bihar, education has been its sole capital, Nitish Kumar must take strong steps to reverse the trend by punishing the guilty.
Will Nitish Kumar address this?

IAS Bilal’s success will inspire every Kashmiri youth

We haven’t heard enough from national media about astounding success of Bilal Mohiudding Bhat, who cleared the prestigious civil services exams and secured 10th rank.
Recently a twenty-two-year-old officer with the Rajputana Rifles Lieutenant Ummer Fayaz, was kidnapped from his home in Tral and shot dead by the terrorists, which shocked not only Kashmir but it caused anger among youths.
(Bilal Mohiudding, who secured 10th Rank in UPSC Exams)
This year, fourteen candidates from Jammu and Kashmir made it to the merit list of Union Public Service Commission exams conducted in 2016. Bilal is currently serving as forest officer in Lucknow.
For a strife-torn state, Bilals success has come as fresh breath of air as he could inspire thousands of youths, who are sick of ongoing violence.
After completing the test, Bilal said, words alone can’t describe his feelings and he feels at the top of the world. Youth of Jammu and Kashmir echoes same sentiments but they are not expressing their feelings in media.
Other students from Jammu and Kashmir, who qualified the exams included Zafar Iqbal (rank 39), Syed Fakhrudin Hamid (rank 86), Bisma Qazi (rank 115), Suhail Qasim Mir (rank 125), Saqib Yousuf (rank 472), Inabat Khaliq (rank 604), Faisal Javaid (rank 610), and Amir Bashir (rank 1087).
This is a strong rebuttal to the terror outfits, who burn school, threaten students from going to schools.

We already witnessed to the long queues of youths lining up for physical test of police test. Bilal's success will underscore every attempt made by the separatists Burhan Wani a hero.
